Dr. Brian Taylor

Family Practice Physician

Dr. Brian Taylor is Family Practice Physician who sees patients at the Fairchance Office of Centerville Clinics.

A native of Oakland, California, Dr. Taylor earned his undergraduate degree at California University, now San Jose State University, and his medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. As an undergraduate, he studied at the University of Dundee in Scotland under an International Program Scholarship.

Dr. Taylor completed his residency in the Iowa Lutheran Hospital Family Practice Program from 1982 to 1985 and earned Board Certification in 1985 by the American Board of Family Physicians. He served on the medical staff of the Medical Center of Taylor County, Grafton, West Virginia, from 1985 to 1988. From July 1998 to December 1988 he was with the Smithfield Medical Center, then opened Fairchance Medical Office in January 1989. When Dr. Taylor joined the Centerville Clinics medical staff his medical office became part of the Centerville Clinics network.

Inducted into fellowship by the American Academy of Family Physicians in 1989, he was named a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice, the certifying entity of the family practice specialty, in 1998.

Dr. Taylor has earned specific course certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
