Medical Office, serving as a Battalion Surgeon for two years and training

Dr. Anita Fiala, a Board-certified family practice physician,

on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dr. Fiala began
her career by earning an R.N. degree at Uniontown Hospital. While she was
earning her bachelor's degree in nursing from WVU she held several nursing
posts. Following two years at Westmoreland Hospital, she joined West Virginia
University hospital's Emergency Department as a triage nurse. After becoming
a Certified Nurse Practitioner, she spent nine years at Monongahalia General
Hospital as a staff nurse while pursuing her medical degree from WVU. She
received her medical degree in 1992 and then completed an internship and
a residency in family medicine, both at WVU. Dr. Fiala was with University
Health Associates from 1995 to 1998, handling a variety of duties including
teaching, administration, and family medicine. In 1998 she joined the doctor's
office at Fayette Medical Associates, where she served as a medical director
and physician. Board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice,
Dr. Fiala has received several honors and awards and holds a number of certifications,
