DR. RIFFAT AKHTAR

    Dr. Riffat Akhtar is an Internal Medicine physician who is Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
    Dr. Akhtar received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Sind Medical College at the University of Karachi, located in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed an internship in obstetrics and gynecology in 1987, and an internship in general surgery in 1988, both at Sind Medical College.
   
   
    From January 1989 to December 1989 Dr. Akhtar was a General Practitioner on the medical staff at Bahdari Hospital, located in Busher, Iran. She later completed an externship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
   
    Dr. Akhtar completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Francis Medical Center, Pittsburgh, and holds licensure from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
   
    She has authored articles and delivered presentations, including the award-winning presentation and abstract "Conn's Syndrome," presented at the St. Francis Medical Center Research Conference.

    Dr. Eric Chadwick is a Board Certified family practice physician who sees patients at Carmichaels Clinic.
    Dr. Chadwick earned his bachelor's degree in comprehensive sciences from Villanova University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania - Hahnemann School of Medicine, where he was a laboratory assistant on a research project during the summer of 1995.
   
   
    He completed a Family Practice Residency at The Washington Hospital and holds several certifications in addition to being Board-eligible by the American Academy of Family Practice. His medical experience includes working as a physician in The Washington Hospital Emergency Room and practicing with Centerville Clinics.
   
   
    Dr. Chadwick also was an associate physician with the Falcon Plastics Employee Health Program. He has done high school and middle school sports physicals and was a high school football field doctor.

    Family Practice physician.

    Graduated from Catholic Medical College in Seoul, Korea.

    Dr. Yong Dae Cho, a Family Practice physician, has been a member of the medical staff of Centerville Clinics since 1973.
   
    A native of Korea, he graduated from Catholic Medical College in Seoul, Korea, in 1966, then spent three years in the Korean Navy as a Medical Office, serving as a Battalion Surgeon for two years and training in Ophthalmology for one year.
   
   
    Dr. Cho served an 18-month internship at The Stamford Hospital, Stamford, CT, beginning in January 1970, working in the Emergency Room, in Internal Medicine, in Surgery, in Pediatrics, and in Obstetrics/Gynecology. He was a first-year General Practice Resident at Sacred Heart Hospital, Norristown, PA, and a second-year General Practice Resident at The Somerset Hospital, Somerville, NJ.
   
   
   
    Licensed in May 1972 to practice medicine and surgery in Pennsylvania, he joined the staff of Centerville Clinic and Brownsville General Hospital in 1973. In 1976 he was named to the medical staff of The Washington Hospital.
   
    Dr. Cho was certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1978 and was re-certified in 1984 and 1996. He also is Board certified in Geriatrics.

DR. ANITA FIALA
    Board-certified family practice physician
    Began her career in nursing, then earned M.D. degree from West Virginia University.
    Sees patients at Uniontown Family Doctors.
       
    Dr. Anita Fiala, a Board-certified family practice physician, sees patients at Uniontown Family Doctors, a part of the Clinics network, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dr. Fiala began her career by earning an R.N. degree at Uniontown Hospital. While she was earning her bachelor's degree in nursing from WVU she held several nursing posts. Following two years at Westmoreland Hospital, she joined West Virginia University hospital's Emergency Department as a triage nurse. After becoming a Certified Nurse Practitioner, she spent nine years at Monongahalia General Hospital as a staff nurse while pursuing her medical degree from WVU. She received her medical degree in 1992 and then completed an internship and a residency in family medicine, both at WVU. Dr. Fiala was with University Health Associates from 1995 to 1998, handling a variety of duties including teaching, administration, and family medicine. In 1998 she joined the doctor's office at Fayette Medical Associates, where she served as a medical director and physician. DR. ROBERT S. GORBY

    Dr. Robert S. Gorby, a Board Certified allergist, sees patients at The Joseph A. Yablonski Memorial Clinic, a part of the Clinics network. Dr. Gorby, who also practices with Westmoreland Allergy and Asthma Associates in Greensburg, earned his undergraduate degree in anthropology/zoology at the University of Michigan. He earned a master's degree in physiology and biostatistics from Georgetown University, then earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he later taught in the Department of Medicine.
   
   
   
   
   
    From 1993 to 1995 he was a Fellow in Allergy and Immunology at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.     Dr. C. Michael Irvin is Chief of Podiatry at Centerville Clinics.
    Dr. Irvin earned his bachelor's degree from Washington and Jefferson College, then earned both a bachelor of science degree and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
   
   
    He completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Central Community Hospital in July 1983 and held a fellowship in 1983-1984 at Foote Memorial Hospital.
   
    In 1984 he joined the practice of Grant E. Wiig, D.P.M. in Jackson, Michigan, as an associate. In 1985 he joined the medical staff of Centerville Clinics. Dr. Irvin also practices with Greene Podiatry Associates and is on the medical staff at Brownsville General Hospital, Greene County Memorial Hospital, and Jefferson Hospital.

    A native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Beth Center High School, he earned his bachelor's degree in Biochemical Sciences in 1968 from Harvard College. In 1972 he earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
   
   
    Dr. Martin completed his internship at Mercy Hospital and his residency at St. Francis General Hospital. His medical experience includes serving as an Emergency Physician at Mercy Hospital in 1973-74. In 1976, in addition to joining Centerville Clinics Dr. Martin was named a staff physician at Brownsville General Hospital.

DR. VINUTHA J. NETAJI

    Dr. Vinutha J. Netaji, a family practice physician, sees patients at its newly opened Connellsville Office.
    Over the past two years, Dr. Netaji completed a Family Practice Residency at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. Her professional training began at Bangalore University in India, where she earned degrees in medicine and surgery. She completed a medical internship at the University and an Internal Medicine Residency at Mysore University.
   
   
    Dr. Netaji also completed a Family Practice Internship at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.
   
    She has extensive clinical experience and her research experience includes serving as an Adjunct Research Fellow.     Dr. Edward Salopek, is a family practice physician who sees patients at California Doctors' Office and the Joseph A. Yablonski Memorial Clinic.
   
    A graduate of Allegheny College, Dr. Salopek earned his medical degree from the University of Pattsburgh School of Medicine and completed a Family Practice Internship at Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, GA.  He then spent four years on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a General Medical Officer, first aboard the USS Oak Hill for two years and later at the Naval Ambulatory Care Center in Groton, CT.  Prior to joining Centerville Clinics, Dr. Salopek completed a Family Practice Residency at Barberton Citizens Hospital, Barberton, OH, where he was the Chief Resident in his last year.

DR. GENE SKIFFINGTON

    Dr. Gene Skiffington is a family practice physician who completed his residency at The Washington Hospital.
   
    He is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he was inducted into Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Society, and earned his medicial degree from the Marshall University School of Medicine. He was an Emergency Room physician at The Washington Hospital from 1996 to 1998, and also served as a physician for the Washington County Correctional Facility and for the Bentworth School District.
   
   
   
    Dr. Skiffington is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. An airborne radio operator/loadmaster, he earned several certifications while in the Marine Corps and was awarded both a Good Conduct Medal and a Sea Service Medal with Star.
   
   
    He is certified for Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. At The Washington Hospital he served on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.

DR. BRIAN SZKLINSKI

    Dr. Brian J. Szklinski, a Board-Certified family practice physician, is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College. He earned his medical degree from The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of Penn State in 1992 and completed his Family Practice Residency at The Washington Hospital in 1995.
   
   
   
    Prior to joining Centerville Clinics, Dr. Szklinski served as Family Practice physician with University Family Practice Associates in McMurray. He also was an instructor of Clinical Family Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Szklinski also has co-authored two medical abstracts dealing with cell growth.

    Dr. Brian Taylor is a family practice physician and the Medical Director of Centerville Clinics.
   
    A native of Oakland, California, Dr. Taylor earned his undergraduate degree at California University, now San Jose State University, and his medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. As an undergraduate, he studied at the University of Dundee in Scotland under an International Program Scholarship.
   
   
    Dr. Taylor completed his residency in the Iowa Lutheran Hospital Family Practice Program from 1982 to 1985 and earned Board Certification in 1985 by the American Board of Family Physicians. He served on the medical staff of the Medical Center of Taylor County, Grafton, West Virginia, from 1985 to 1988. From July 1998 to December 1988 he was with the Smithfield Medical Center, then opened Fairchance Medical Office in January 1989. When Dr. Taylor joined the Centerville Clinics medical staff his medical office became part of the Centerville Clinics network.
   
   
   
   
   
    Inducted into fellowship by the American Academy of Family Physicians in 1989, he was named a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice, the certifying entity of the family practice specialty, in 1998.

Dr. Jer-Yuan Tsai is an Internal Medicine physician who is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
   
    A native of Taiwan, he earned his medical degree from Chun-Shun Medical College in Taiwan. Dr. Tsai completed his internship at West Suburban hospital, Oak Park, IL, from July 1971 to June 1972, then completed a residency in Internal Medicine from July 1972 through June 1975 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Elizabeth, NJ.
   
   
    Dr. Tsai joined the medical staff of Centerville Clinics in July 1975, and is also affiliated with Greene County Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Internal Medicine.
