Dr. Rebecca Plute, a Family Practice Physician, joined the medical staff of Centerville Clinics in 2001. Dr. Plute sees patients at Carmichaels Clinic, a part of the Centerville Clinics network.
A native of Washington, PA, Dr. Plute earned her undergraduate degree from Penn State and her medical degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania. She also completed the Family Practice Residency Program at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, PA, where she was named Chief Resident and was named Resident Teacher of the Year.
Her research experience includes a summer internship at the Center for Gerontological Research at The Medical College of Pennsylvania. She also was a teaching assistant in the Department of Embryology at Penn State, where she earned several honors, including membership in Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Plute also holds Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and Basic Life Support certification from the American Red Cross.
