What are the biggest changes you have seen in healthcare over the years?
The biggest changes I have seen in healthcare are the ways we can treat patients. COVID has brought forth an increased role for Telemedicine, and this has allowed us to reach out to patients and treat them if they are not always able to make it into the office.
What is your passion?
My passion is to provide the best care for my patients that I can. Advocating for patients is very important to me, as it is something that I have experience with from my time as a bedside nurse. Being able to go the extra mile for my patients is something that I always strive to achieve.
Why did you apply to Centerville Clinics?
I applied to Centerville to make a difference in the patient population that we serve. Being able to be a part of an FQHC is something that I take pride in, as we are able to better treat a patient demographic that does not always get strong patient care in other areas.
What are you most proud of, whether in your practice or personal life?
I am most proud of the personal relationships that I have been able to make along my path to becoming an Advanced Practice Provider. I would not be in this position if it was not for my family and friends that have pushed me to go the extra mile.
