IN-DEPTH TESTING TO BETTER UNDERSTAND BEHAVIORAL NEEDS
Psychological Evaluations & Testing
Understanding the root of emotional or behavioral challenges often starts with a proper diagnosis. Psychological testing helps identify learning disabilities, developmental delays, mood disorders, attention difficulties, and other mental health conditions to pave the way for the right support plan.
At Centerville Clinics, our licensed psychologist performs detailed assessments for children. Testing may include cognitive evaluations, personality assessments, behavioral observations, and structured interviews. These tools help uncover patterns and diagnose conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, and more.
Results are always explained clearly, with actionable recommendations for treatment, support, or referrals. Whether a school is requesting an evaluation, a provider needs more insight, or a patient or parent simply wants answers, our team is here to guide the process with compassion and professionalism.
COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATIONS & MEDICATION SUPPORT
Psychiatric Evaluations & Medication Management
For many patients, behavioral health treatment includes both therapy and medication, and a thorough psychiatric evaluation is the first step. These evaluations help identify mental health conditions, clarify treatment needs, and develop personalized plans that may include medications to manage symptoms.
At Centerville Clinics, our psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners provide thoughtful, evidence-based evaluations for children, teens, and adults. We take time to listen, ask the right questions, and understand your medical and mental health history before recommending any treatment.
If medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss your options in detail and explain how each prescription works. Our team offers ongoing medication management to monitor effectiveness, adjust dosages if needed, and address any concerns along the way.
Whether you're starting a new medication or continuing care, our goal is to ensure your treatment is safe, supportive, and tailored to you.
FLEXIBLE & CONFIDENTIAL TELEPSYCHIATRY NEAR YOU
Telepsychiatry
Accessing behavioral health services shouldn’t be limited by location, transportation, or time. That’s why Centerville Clinics offers virtual appointments that connect you with licensed mental health providers from the comfort of your home.
Telepsychiatry services include therapy sessions, medication management, and in rare cases, evaluations. These visits are conducted through secure video platforms and follow the same standards of care as in-person appointments. They’re especially helpful for patients with limited mobility, those living in remote areas, or individuals who feel more comfortable receiving care in a familiar setting.
INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY & GROUP OUTPATIENT THERAPY OPTIONS
Outpatient Care
Many patients benefit from flexible mental health support that fits into everyday life. At Centerville Clinics, our outpatient programs are designed for children, teens, and adults who want to talk through challenges, develop coping strategies, and work toward long-term emotional wellness.
Services include individual therapy, family therapy, group sessions, and medication management when needed. Patients may seek care for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, or behavioral issues in children. Some clients visit weekly or biweekly, while others attend sessions as needed.
Our licensed therapists create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore what you’re going through and build a personalized path forward. Outpatient care gives you a chance to grow at your own pace, with consistent support from professionals who are here to help.
IN-HOME, FAMILY-BASED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Family-Based Support
When a child or teen is facing a serious emotional or behavioral challenge, the whole family feels it. At Centerville Clinics, our family-based mental health services are designed to strengthen family relationships and provide intensive in-home support for youth at risk of out-of-home placement or hospitalization.
These services pair trained therapists and caseworkers who work directly with families in their homes. The team helps address crisis situations, build communication skills, solidify the hierarchy, and support parents or guardians in creating a more stable, nurturing environment. Care plans are highly individualized and include safety planning, relationship building, behavioral strategies, connections to community resources, as well as collaboration with doctors, case managers, schools, and extended family.
Family-based support can be life-changing, giving families the tools and confidence to manage challenges together. It’s especially helpful for youth dealing with trauma, severe mood or conduct disorders, or repeated school or social difficulties.
By focusing on the whole family, Centerville Clinics helps children heal in the setting that supports them best: home.
STRENGTHENING PARENT-CHILD RELATIONSHIPS
Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (Ages 2 ½ to 7)
Parent-child relationships shape how children grow, cope, and connect with others. When communication breaks down or behavioral challenges arise, early intervention can make all the difference. At Centerville Clinics, we offer parent-child interactive therapy to help strengthen bonds, improve interactions, and support emotional development.
This type of therapy involves both the child and caregiver working together with a trained therapist. Sessions may focus on building trust, understanding behavior, managing conflict, or learning new ways to communicate. It’s especially helpful for children struggling with anxiety, trauma, attachment issues, or behavioral outbursts at home or school.
Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where families can explore challenges together and build healthier dynamics. By teaching tools that work both in and outside of sessions, we help families grow stronger and more connected.
SERVICES THAT CONNECT YOU TO THE SUPPORT YOU NEED
Blended Case Management Services
Mental health recovery often involves more than just therapy; it also includes help navigating life’s practical challenges. At Centerville Clinics, our case managers help clients connect with the resources they need to stay stable, healthy, and on track.
Blended case management is available for both adults and children with serious behavioral health conditions. Services are tailored to each person and may include help with housing, transportation, school support, employment, food access, and coordination of medical or behavioral health appointments.
Our case managers build strong, ongoing relationships with clients and families. They meet regularly, advocate for services, and ensure that no one falls through the cracks during difficult times. Whether you're transitioning out of the hospital, experiencing a crisis, or simply need more support, our team is ready to assist.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH MANAGEMENT FOR KIDS & TEENS
Intensive Behavioral Health Services
Some children and adolescents need more support than weekly therapy alone can provide. That’s why Centerville Clinics offers Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS). These short-term, flexible interventions are designed to stabilize emotional and behavioral concerns at home, in school, or in the community.
IBHS is ideal for youth experiencing high levels of distress, repeated behavioral outbursts, or difficulty functioning in daily environments. Services are individualized and may include one-on-one therapy, skill-building, crisis planning, and collaboration with families, teachers, and other providers.
A dedicated team (including behavioral health workers, clinicians, and case managers) works closely with each child and their support system to reduce unsafe behaviors and improve functioning. The goal is to strengthen coping skills and help the child succeed in their everyday settings without needing hospitalization.
At Centerville Clinics, we believe early, intensive support can lead to long-term progress. IBHS provides just that, when and where families need it most.
STRUCTURED PROGRAMS FOR THOSE IN NEED OF EXTRA SUPPORT
Partial Hospitalization Programs
Some mental health needs require more structure than weekly outpatient therapy, but don’t rise to the level of inpatient care. At Centerville Clinics, we offer partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) for children, adolescents, and adults who need more intensive support in a safe, therapeutic setting, without overnight stays.
Our partial hospitalization programs provide full-day behavioral health treatment up to five days per week. Services include individual and group therapy, medication management, psychiatric evaluation, and skills training in areas like emotional regulation, coping, and communication. For school-aged participants, educational support is also integrated into the daily schedule during the school year.
Patients return home each evening, allowing them to stay connected to family and community while receiving a high level of care. This model supports recovery, stability, and progress in a real-world context.
EMERGENCY SUPPORT WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST

Whether you're looking for care for yourself or someone in your household, we’re here to help.
Can my child receive behavioral health support at school?
Many schools in our region participate in programs that offer early behavioral health support directly on-site. Two key examples include the Student Assistance Program (SAP) and the CHILL Program (Counsel, Help, Intervention, Listen, and Links). These programs aim to identify students who may be struggling emotionally or behaviorally and connect them with appropriate services.
SAP is a state-mandated program available in all school districts. In select Washington County schools, SAP liaisons are available to conduct screenings and help determine whether a student would benefit from brief school-based support or referral to outside services. Students may be eligible for up to six group or individual sessions.
The CHILL Program is available in Greene County and provides outpatient therapy to students in their school setting. It helps youth build coping skills, manage stress, and improve self-awareness.
At Centerville Clinics, we often work with families referred through SAP or CHILL. If you have questions about your child’s behavioral health needs, we’re happy to coordinate care or assist with the next step.
