What are the biggest changes you have seen in healthcare over the years?
One of the biggest changes in healthcare since 2003, when I became an RN, has been the advancement of technology. The rise of telemedicine, electronic health records (EHRs), and wearable health devices has revolutionized how patients and healthcare providers interact. Telemedicine allows remote consultations, improving access to care, while EHRs enhance the accuracy and coordination of treatments. Additionally, wearable devices empower patients to track their health in real time, fostering more proactive and personalized care. This technological evolution has made healthcare more efficient, accessible, and patient-centered.
What is your passion?
I am deeply passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. I believe that every individual deserves personalized care that not only addresses their immediate health needs but also supports their long-term well-being. By understanding each patient's unique circumstances, I strive to empower them to make informed decisions, guiding them towards a healthier and more fulfilling life. Whether through providing compassionate support, developing tailored care plans, or offering practical advice, my ultimate goal is to help patients live their best life with confidence and strength.
Why did you apply to Centerville Clinics?
I applied to Centerville Clinics because I am passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of underserved individuals. I believe that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves access to high-quality healthcare. Centerville Clinics’ commitment to serving vulnerable communities aligns perfectly with my values of providing compassionate, equitable care. I am excited to contribute my skills and dedication to support those who may otherwise lack the resources or access to the care they need, and to help improve their health and overall quality of life.
What are you most proud of whether in your practice or personal life?
I am most proud of my career and my family. In my professional role, I take great pride in helping patients improve their health and achieve their goals. On a personal level, I’m grateful for my supportive husband and our four children. My husband has been a constant source of encouragement, and together we’ve navigated the challenges of balancing family and career. Each of our children brings something unique to our lives and watching them grow and develop has been incredibly rewarding. The love and support from my family inspire me every day.
