Susan M. Bradley Boehme, DMD

Dr. Bradley-Boehme earned a degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

How has COVID impacted your practice?
Studies have shown that only one percent of dental staff have had COVID-19. Dental offices have done a great job with infection control and screening staff and patients to reduce the spread of COVID and provide safe care. At the beginning of the pandemic, administration promptly provided negative air flow ventilation and kept up with the demands of PPE to improve safety of staff and patients.
 
What are the biggest changes you have seen in healthcare?
The greatest changes in my profession have been improved materials, digital x-ray, and technology that makes providing dentistry more efficient and comfortable for patients. 

What is your passion?
I enjoy working with my hands and providing quality dental care.  Relieving pain, easing someone’s anxiety and restoring a patient’s smile is very rewarding. 

Why did you apply to Centerville Clinics?
It is especially rewarding to serve the less fortunate and to educate patients in better oral health. There are challenges with smoking, poor diet choices, mental health, and limits with insurance, but I strive to make a difference. 

What are you most proud of, whether in your practice or personal life?
I am proud of the staff (hygienists, assistants, and receptionists) I work with. They have a great work ethic and are kind to the patients treated at the Washington office.  I value them greatly. Thankfully we work as a team meeting our patient’s needs. I am thankful for my husband, a dedicated family physician, and my four children (dedicated family physician, physician assistant, defense attorney and 84 Lumber corporate employee).
