Varun Dobariya, MD

Dr. Varun Dobariya earned his medical degree from the Aureus University School of Medicine in Aruba, where he also studied at the Xavier School of Medicine.  He was a resident at Marshall University in West Virginia, at West Suburban Medical Center in Illinois, and Northshore University Hospital in Illinois.

What are the biggest changes you have seen in healthcare over the years? 
Modern healthcare has transformed through technology, with telemedicine, AI diagnostics, and wearables
enabling proactive, patient-centered care. The shift to value-based models prioritizes outcomes over volume, while Robotics assist in complex surgeries, mental health apps make therapy more accessible. Together, these advances create a healthcare future where knowledge, technology, and humanity work in harmony—leading to healthier patients and stronger communities. The key lies in balancing cutting-edge tools with unwavering
patient advocacy and education.

What is your passion? 
My passion lies in breaking down complex health concepts, so patients truly understand their bodies and choices.  I champion preventive care and believe technology should enhance, not replace, the human
connection in healing. Equitable access and fighting misinformation are central to my advocacy.
